Hi Im from Telangana and I just finished my open inter in 2020 and I got just 35% without exams and I want to write JEE mains in 2021 can I eligible for IIT and NIT Im prepared well but just 35% open inter marks I dont know what do pls help me

samarthmishrakhurai 14th Sep, 2020
Dear aspirant,

You got 35 % in your open inter examination ,

Now you are not eligible for IIT and NIT because there is some criteria for admission in IIT and NIT.

When you have got minimum 75%(general category)
And 65% for SC,ST category in your open inter then you are eligible for IIT and NIT.

Thank you
All the best!

What courses or branches will I be exempted from in Btech from IIT/ NIT if I have color blindness?

Shreya shrestha 14th Sep, 2020

Hello there, no one is going to stop you in admission because of colour blindness. All branches accept colourblind students. Colour blindness is like an inconvenience compared to any other major physical disabilities. But there some branched like mining engineering, applied geology, exploration geophysics where you can face problems, so it's better to avoid these branches.

Good luck !!

sir, what minimum marks are required in jee advanced for sc category and selection in iit college

Akram Khan 13th Sep, 2020

Hi,

The cutoff depends on many factors like number of student applied, number of seats available, difficulty level of exam, marks obtained etc.

Every  IIT has its own opening and closing rank. So depending on these factors the cutoff marks vary from year to year.

In previous years the jee advance cutoff for sc category was minimum aggregate 17.5 percentage. And minimum 5 % in each subject.

So you should score an aggregate  percentage near around 16 -25% to be safe to secure seat in IITs.

Hope it helps.

Ankur Dubey Student Expert 23rd Oct, 2020

Hello

Future of ceramic engineering in iit bhu is good . Because this year around 98%of student get placed . Highest salaryoffer by bhu is 21 lpa while lowest is 10 lpa . Majorly non core placement are offered in ceramic engineering branch . Getting internship  is easy if you have a good cgpa. People also go for higher studies or in a research sector also so getting a degree from bhu is also a achievement.
