Hello student. 160 is a good mark to get a seat in IIT that too with the existence of reservation for obc ncl. But due to the high level of competition, you might not be able to get desired courses such as computer science, mechanical engineering electrical branches.

No, you cannot get seat in any IIT.

You cannot expect college seats with Minimum cutoff marks.

They are just for qualify.

With minimum qualifying marks, you cannot expect any NIT as well.

Your rank will be around lakhs.

As you have not mentioned your category here so answer is given on assuming the category as general. So according to your category and Jee advanced rank their is no possibilities to get seat in any IIT. But according to your jee mains rank their are some NIT's

Hello aspirant,to be eligible for appearing JEE Advanced you first need to qualify JEE Mains.
Last year the cutoff mark for JEE Advanced was:
General:90 marks
OBC-NCL:81 marks
But every year the cutoff changes.

But only qualifying the JEE Advanced doesn't give surity about your admission in IIT's,it solely depends

Yes,There is a sliding procedure in almost all IITs and NITs. And you can change your branch after Ist year if you perform well in your exams. But the seats are very limited and one has to work very hard to change his/her branch and as your are

Opening and closing ranks of different institutes has been released on official josaa website, you can check the cutoff from their. It is almost similar as that of the last year for the first round, but let's see what happens as still many josaa rounds+CSAB rounds are left.
