Dear aspirant,
Hope you are doing well. As per your query IIT Varanasi is one of the top tier and best college amongst all the IITs. The placement status of the college is excellent. The highest package offered was 1.53 CPA whereas the other offers ranged from 10 LPA to 50 LPA. Though the placements for pharmaceutical engineering were not that great as core companies didn't come for campus placements. Other branches had decent job offers whereas only 20-30% from pharmaceutical engineering branch got offers. Please click on the link below for more information and updates. Hope you find this helpful. Thank you.

I suggest you to choose IIT Lucknow Computer science and artificial intelligence. Because there is good scope for Artificial intelligence in multiple disciplines like for building Machines in computer vision, voice recognition, home automation, game playing, expert systems and in many applications. And computer science Engineers has abundance of opportunities like Software Engineer, data scientist, web development, UI/UX design, Mobile application developer, front end web development, back end development, database programmer, full stack web developer. So the scope of both are on rise. Hence I suggest you to choose CS and AI, However it solely depends on your area of interest.
Majority of core branches students are opting jobs in computer science looking in to placement opportunities and pay package since last few years. As far as placement is concern IIIT banglore is almost at par with top IITs. Also location matters as Banglore is hub of IT industry. IIIT curriculum is better also. I will recommend IIIT banglore than Mechanical in IIT even in top Iits. Choice is difficult as you wont get IIT tag, however, tag only will not help to get better placement opportunity, branch matters. I know students in my circle who passed CS from tier 2/3 colleges and getting much better placement then core graduate from IIT and Bits. If you choose core branches other than CS then should prepare for Mtech.
According to your marks you have many options
BITSAT
Through BITSAT , you can get many good branches like EE , ECE ,Mechanical and other good branches in all campuses of BITS .

JEE Advanced
You can go for josaa counselling , you might get some new iit in the later round in some low branches .
JEE Advanced score can be used to take admission to many colleges other than IIT which are these -
1)IISC Bangalore
2)IISER
3)IIST Thiruvananthapuram
4)RGIPT
5)IIPE
From these , you have chances to get iist , iiser , rgipt and iipe , so you can try for them .
Apart from that you also have jee mains score , try if you can get Nit or IIIT or GFTI according to your mains rank .
