After you appear JEE main in janurary session keep on preparing. After april session they wil release the merit list for jee advance. If your rank is eligible then you can appear JEE advance and if your rank and score is decent enough and satsifies the selection criteria for any IIT campus across India then you can get an admission.

To get an admission  at IIT hyderabad, you have to secure a rank which will be in the cutoff rank range of IIT Hyderabad. Every IIT have different cutoff for different branches. SO you have to check accordingly. With out JEE advance you can't join any IIT campus. SO prepare accordingly.

To join any IIT for doing b.tech you need to clear firstly jee mains examination then jee advance examination and need to come in the cut off of the college and the branch you require.

Gate exam is given for masters degree not bachelor's degree.

To study in any of the IIT's in India, it is very important to qualify and as well as getting a good score in JEE Advanced. To attempt JEE Advanced, it is mandatory to qualify JEE Mains. After qualifying in JEE Advanced you have to attend the counselling at JOSAA where we can give the preference to your desired college and then we will be selected for that college accordingly.
