A big NO, BITS hyderabad, IIT hyderabad and IIIT hyderabad does not accept TS PGECET score. BITS Hyderabad accepts BITS exam score, IIT accepts JEE advanced score and IIIT accepts JEE mains score only. So you should prepare for the exams to get admission in any of these colleges.

Obviously the placements in IIT Hyderabad chemical is better than Jadavpur University

Chemical engineering has less core jobs and Jadavpur doesn't attract many companies.

Whereas IIT Hyderabad attracts many companies there are many software jobs available.

The placement statistics of chemical was good. Dr Reddy's visited.

You can sit for software jobs 

The average at IIT hyd was 8 lpa 

So choose IIT hyd over Jadavpur

As i have already mentioned in various answers that Jadavpur is considerd as one of best for hemical better than many IIT's .

If you will consider last year placement scenario then the companies came for placements are Cairn India, Berger Paints, Fluor Daniel, UOP Honeywell, Haldia Petrochemical, Axens, ITC, BPCL and the placement package ranges from 6lpa-17lpa for core companies. Other than these, Vedanta Resources (8-9 lpa), Reliance chemical industries (6lpa), ZS Associates (8-10 lpa), Thermax(7lpa),HPL(6lpa),Hindustan Unilever (8lpa). These are mainly the companies which come for the placements, there can be few others also. Other than these there are MRC ‘S ( Mass recruiting companies) which offer a pay package of 3.2-3.5lpa and takes a good number of students.

Congratulations for good results. If you are aspiring for these two colleges particularly. Then IIT Madras is better than IIT hyderabad as per ranking. But choice of branch also matters. Think deeply because you will be called a mechanical engineer or software engineer. Both the options are good. Final decision depends on your interest.

The closing rank for OBC candidates in IIT Bombay was 13

The closing rank for OBC candidates in IIT Guwahati was 31

The closing rank for OBC candidates in IISTDM Jabalpur was 46
