Hello aspirant, congratulations on performing well in GATE 2019 Examination. Based on your performance, it might get difficult for you to take admission in IIT Roorkee as the closing rank for 2018 was 430. However, you can try for ither IITs as well.

Hi ! First of all it can be said that where your admission percentage is high. If your interview is good then your admission is automatic. In both the interview they focus on your communication skills rather than technical skill, hence it is also called personality test. And I think IIT Hyderabad with AI is better because the technology is advancing and with this the application of artificial intelligence is increasing in current market. Hence ai will be a good choice. So hope you understand and best of luck to you.

It is estimated that the cutoff will be around 

450-600 rank 

The cutoff for cse was around 700 last year 

Many students might take artificial intelligence. Also the seats are very less

Artificial intelligence course is in high demanded.

IIT Hyderabad is an emerging institute.

It is at par with IIT Guwahati .

Eventhough being a new IIT it achieved excellent placements.

4.iit bhubaneshwar

so you should go with iit indore and hyderabad as they are good placement wise,crowdwise and also location wise.

First of all congratulations for performing so well in JEE advance.

I would suggest you to go for IIT BHU CSE since it is a very prestigious college. When placements of both IIT BHU and IIT Hyderabad CSE is being compared then the placements at BHU is much better and the highest package at BHU is 2.5 crores till now.

Not only placements but college culture at IIT BHU is very good. Many good companies come for placement in CSE department at BHU and even the alumini network is very broad at IIT BHU.

My person suggestions for you would be to go for IIT BHU CSE rather than IIT Hyderabad CSE.

According to me you should go for IIT BHU CSE because it is one of the most premier institute in India and when compared to IIIT Hyderabad then the college have battle placements. The highest placement of IIT BHU CSE till now is  2.5 crores which is much higher than IIT Hyderabad comparatively. The college culture at IIT BHU is much better and the college have a very good Alumni network with an awesome campus culture.

Both the IITs are good in their way and Metallurgy and Material Science in both the Institute is good, faculties are helpful. But which Institute is near to you and for the campus you have to visit it then you will get your best option which you want to prefer.

Engineering physics - Bachelor of technology (B. Tech) (4 years program) is offered by the :

- IIT Hyderabad - 20 seats

- IIT Guhawati - 50 seats

Engineering physics - Bachelor of technology and Masters of technology dual degree ( B. Tech + M. Tech) ( 5 years program) is offered by :

-IIT BHU (Varanasi) - 20 seats.

Admission to these programs is made through the two tier examination called Joint entrance examination ( JEE ).

So I would like to prefer you to go for IIT BHU, as it offers dual degree in EP.

Your rank is quite impressive in JEE Advanced. But the chances for getting into Indian Institute of Technology, Hyderabad is little less.

But still you can go for Jossa counseling , as there are chances for getting branches such as civil,chemical etc.
