Hey! The chances are not very high in IITs or NITs due to the subject you want to pursue your postgraduation in. The score they require is around 700 which is not equivalent to your score. Don't lose hope! Good luck!

I want apply for mtech in iit hyderabad. My gate expected score is 727 EE 2019 specificly in power electronics branch (PEPS).

Your gate score is 727 in EE with this marks you have a low chance to gate PEPS.Last year cutoff for PEPS was around 745.you can also check here cutoff marks

You have got 169.24 marks and your rank is 97.With this rank you have a chance for IIITDM because last year cutoff for IIITDM was 95.you can check here previous year cutoff

No you can't take direct admissions to the institutes such as IITs as they don't have management quota seats and admissions for all the M.Tech courses are based on the score of GATE.

according to previous year cut off, for getting admission in IITs your marks is around to 65+.

or your GATE score is near about to 700.
