Hello Dear,
The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering is an examination that primarily tests the comprehensive understanding of various undergraduate subjects in engineering and science for admission into the Masters Program Sector Companies. GATE cut off is the minimum marks that you need to score to qualify the exam.
Admission in IITs are based on GATE rank and not the number of marks out of 100 you achieved. To get admission in the IITs, you would require a rank under 500. In terms of marks your number must be 70+ in General category.
Good Luck
Hello Aspirant,
Since you have not mentioned your category so considering it as General but if you belongs to any other category then please mention it down. Also note that admission to IIT Hyderabad for B.Tech program is taken only on the basis of JEE-Advance score not on JEE-Main score. But in order to sit for JEE-Advance you need to qualify the minimum cut-off percentile of JEE-Main which will be decided by the NTA at the time of final result declaration.
As we go through the latest cut-off of 2020 then it shows that the closing rank for Open/General category was 584 for CSE branch in IIT Hyderabad. See it is quite difficult to tell you about exact marks to score because for JEE-Advance no maximum marks are fixed but yes with regards to JEE-Advance 2021 if you secure your AIR in JEE-Advance under top 570-580 then there are good chances for you to get CSE branch in IIT Hyderabad.
You can check out the latest cut-offs from the link given below :-
https://josaa.nic.in/Result/Result/currentorcr.aspx
Note that the above prediction is made on the basis of latest cut-offs available on official website of JOSAA or CSAB and the cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors such as the number of candidates appearing in an examination, the number of candidates qualifying an examination, difficulty level of the paper, and so on.
As you are preparing for JEE-Main and JEE-Advance 2021 the I would recommend you to check the resources made by our experts to help aspirants like you in the best and smart preparation of JEE-Main 2021 :-
