Indian Institute of Technology Indian School of Mines Dhanbad
Hello...!!
I am a student at Indian school of mines, Petroleum Engineering, I have studied Pathak sir's notes. And they are really awesome. They are made by sir. When sir gave us the notes, it was clearly written at top that it is for internal use only.
Even if we provide you the notes, it would be very difficult to get it without the help of Pathak sir.
Hello Yashwanth AB Reddy, the Karnattaka's CET is valid to take admission in BNYS and BAMS colleges in Karnattaka. BAMS college of Karnattaka has taking the admission on the basis of the Karnattaka's CET and same with BNYS college of Karnattaka. Best of luck for the future
The placement percentage is quite high as in most of the IITs. Around 80% of the students in B.Tech programmes get placed. Placement percentage of the branches like mining engineering and computer science is 90% whereas the civil department lacks a bit regarding placements. The highest salary package offered was 36 LPA and was offered to the students of CSE department. The infrastructure of the college is quite good and is still developing. There is a 7-storey huge library with a good Wi-Fi connection. The student activity centre facilitates all cultural and most of the indoor sports activities. There are ample sports fields and courts for outdoor activities too. There is a health centre to look after all the health issues of students. Labs and classrooms are good and well-furnished.
First of all ISM is now converted to IIT so the level of college as well as placements have been improved a lot.Now coming to your question on Electrical Engineering,so electrical is a core branch of engineering and you have lots of opportunities being an IITian.Best choice at ISM will be mining as it is one of the oldest and well known college in mining.EE have a good placement record but if you are getting one of the old IITs then please consider them either ISM is not bad and has talented people there. Also you can show your coding skills after joining EE also so don't worry about that.
Hope this helps.
Hello Arpan,
If you are concerned whether to pick between IIEST Shibpur or IIT(ISM) DHANBAD, I'd suggest you should have mentioned your alloted department in respective colleges to get a better idea of the situation. However, I'd suggest for similar departments, you should go for IIT(ISM) Dhanbad.
Greetings to you,
As per your rank in JEE Advanced 2019 and in accordance with your SC category, you are very much likely to get a seat in every branch of ISM Dhanbad except CSE. The CSE branch for SC category candidates closed at 613 category rank. But you are very much eligible for the remaining ones. Also, you can get good branches in IITs better than IIT(ISM) Dhanbad. Good luck.
Hello student,
Both the colleges are similar to much of the extent. If you are keen interested in CSE then go to IIT jodhpur without thinking much but if you are just following the trend of CSE then dontd opt this field as there are many branches which also have good scopes in India.
Cheers!
Hello,
Please note the fact that package or placement depends upon an individual's skills than just branch. So if you are confused between choosing IIT BHU Chemical and IIT Dhanbad Mechanical, look for your field of interest that whether you are more inclined towards mechanical engineering or chemical engineering. Placement of an individual depends upon personal skills, academic performance etc. Choose your branch wisely.
