Indian Institute of Technology Jodhpur
Hello Aspirant,
According to me both the colleges are great and has good curriculum for academics but if you really want to have a better idea you can view our college reviews in our website and check by your self as there you will get an answer which will be given by the students studying there also you can compare the college using our compare the colleges option.
But as far as your question is considered and you are looking for an answer than I would suggest you to choose MBA over anything else as this will give you the best result and best outcome possible.
I hope this helps.
Hey Saitama
National Institute of Technology, Trichy has an average placement record of MBA with highest being offered 12 lakhs per annum and average 7 lakhs per annum and NIT Trichy has is a reputed government college with excellent infrastructure and good academic environment.
In IIT Jodhpur, Master of Business Administration (MBA) have been introduced recently and so MBA side isn't' much established but it is expected to have a good record. So NIT Trichy would be better in comparison to IIT Jodhpur.
You may hustle to get better colleges like IIMs' of old IIT's for MBA, all the best.
Hello!
As IIT jodhpur has just started the MBA program from 2020 the cut offs will be 80+ for getting a call, followed by GDPI. As you've scored 88, that's fair enough to get a call.
Admission has 2 steps process:
(1) Shortlisting, for an online PI, based on the percentile of candidates in the CAT conducted by IIMs (2) Final list for admission based on 80% (CAT Score) + 15 % (Interview) + 5% (work experience)
(However a student with 98+ percentile in Cat gets direct admission)

Hello,
This is quite a complex situation of choosing a college.
Doing MTech in Sensors and Iot will be much better than doing power engineering.
But Iit Ropar has better placements than Iit Jodhpur.
But if you compare in detail doing mtech in sensors and Iot will be better choice as this is in trend .
The placements will be fine in the near future for Iit Jodhpur.
Best Wishes
No doubt it is a good college for mtech mechanical. Firstly congratulations on getting iit jodpur because the seats for mtech in iits are really less. Secondly you must not give a second thought of taking admission there. It is of course a good college for mechanical engineering and you will have lots of placement from here
Hi Aspirant
This kind of dilemma is faced by a lot of students during JOSAA counseling. There cannot be any one answer to this kind of question. So you must keep in mind the following facts:
a) Which branch interests you more? If a particular branch interests you more go for that irrespective of the College because branch is more important than the college.
b) If any particular Branch doesn't interest you going for the older college is advisable because you will know about the placement statistics and have a better Campus.
c) Location must also be considered. Which college's location gives you the advantages over the others go for that college.
While choosing the branch you must have a look at the career options available for that particular branch. Gather as much information as you can about that particular field from the people associated with that field.
Hope this helps and All the Best.
