According to previous years cutoff of GATE ( for metallurgy ), the IITs with their required cutoff are listed below :

1. IIT Kharagpur - In 2017 the cutoff was 432 and in 2016 the cutoff was 628

2. IIT Kanpur - In 2016 the cutoff was 544

3. IIT Madras - In 2016 the cutoff was 556 and in 2017 the cutoff was 526. In 2018 it was 593.

DTU (Delhi technological University ) is one of the top university that offers BBA in it's New Campus( East Campus). Given option one should always go for DTU rather than IIMT. Also IIMT is a private college whereas DTU is a government college with a strong backing from AAP. 

Talking about the placements, DTU has always been in trend for placement scenarios and will definitely build a better placements this year for BBA as the course has started recently and have no good details. Moreoff the placements depends on the person's capabilities and not on the College mostly. 

The faculty of the DTU college for BBA is highly qualified along with great experience of teaching in top colleges. So if given option one should go for DTU.

as you secured 6600 rank in the JEE MAINS paper-1 so according to your rank and the previous year analysis out around 30 NIT you can easily be a single holder of seat in the rest 15 NITs in the south india side NITs its difficult to get seat in the top branches,

but can hold seat in the northern side NITs easily in the top branches .you try to the sourthern NITs if chance permits you secure seat there

The mark vs rank analysis of the test varies from year to year and fluctuates a lot. So nothing can be said about the rank from marks until the results are out.

Once the ranks are out some branch might be predicted.
