There are no chances of getting IIT with 48% or any board marks.
For getting into IIt , you need to pass JEE advance and be in top 7000 among lacs . Moreover , you need atleast 75% in boards.

In my frank opinion, I hope You do select IIT roorkee instead of Manipal, as it is more recognised and more accpted.I hope this helped

Admission to the college not just depends on the cutoff. The cutoff is just to make you eligible for the counseling. Admission depends on your rank and number of seats in the institute.
