The D Y PATIL COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING AKRUDI is a well known college for its infrastructure ,faculties,facilities ,campus,college life and also is very good in placements.

Each and every branch in this college is very good but the IT department is better than other branches as placement

If we go as per the resources available then IT department always had more placement percentage than ELECTRONIC AND TELECOMMUNICATION. This is because nowadays software is given more preferences and it has high demand in market. From every college around 85% of students from IT department gets placed.Even

Information technology: where you learn about processors, compilers develop algorithms etc. But at the end of the day, it all comes down to your coding skills.

IT deals with computing technologies to reality and it's application along with databases ,study networks. CS deals with science of these application.cs is concerned with software, operating system, implementation.

But both branches has almost similar subjects.
