which is better IEM ECE or HIT ECE for better clg life and placement

Heritage institute of technology is a private engineering college in kolkata.it is affiliated by Maulana Abdul Kalam Azad University of technology .

It was established in year 2001 and it's director is Dulal Chandra Roy .

Campus area is about 70 acres.

According to ranking given by NIRF in 2018 ( NATIONAL INSTITUTE RANKING FRAMEWORK ) it is ranked in between 101-150 among engineering institute in India.wheras IEM is ranked on 25 given by NIRF.

both of them are approved by UGC.

IEM fee structure is around 5 lakhs whereas heriatge's fees is around 6 lakh.

So by considering the NIRF ranking IEM is better than HIT.

Which is the best between IEM and UEM college of kolkata for BBA ?

University of Engineering and Management and Institute of Engineering and Management both are good but UEM Kolkata has better ranking and rating. Even the placement opportunities are impressive. It is quite difficult to differenciate them. As UEM and IEM are under same group of Institutions and the recruiters are almost same. However, UEM is one of the best private universities of Kolkata rather West Bengal. The BBA course is backed up by renowned faculties. All the necessary skills and knowledge are provided to the students. This university also encourages students who are intersted in Entrepreneurship. Most of the students get placed in reputed companies. BYJU'S, TCS, Capgemini, Powell Industries, Extramarks Education, Jaro education, Concentrix etc are the recruiters of BBA graduates of this college. However the college is a little strict in discipline and punctuality. Attendance is plays a great role. The placements of IEM is also good. Institute of Engineering and Management and Heritage Institute of Technology both are top private Engineering colleges of Bengal and the placements of both IEM and HIT are very good. Both have been top among top 5 private Engineering colleges of West Bengal. Careers360 has rated IEM with AAAA grade while HIT has got AAA+ grade. However, placements of information Technology of IEM is better compared to Heritage Institute of Technology.

Several Software and IT companies come for recruiting CSE and IT Engineers. Along with software companies, various Educational organisations, business development centres, Sales, marketing companies also recruit from here. TCS, ITC Infotech, Cognizant, IBM, Microsoft, Amazon, BYJU's, Deloitte etc hire CS and IT Engineers from IEM. Academically, both are good, but Placements for Electronics branch is far good in Heritage.

No you cannot get a seat in IIM Kolkata because the closing rank of all the branches are below 7000. Based on these are the best colleges you can get-

Which is better ECE in Kalyani Govt Enggenrring college or IT in IEM KOLKATA for a better future?

Hey there

IEM kolkata is bigger brand and has good placements. An ECE at kalyani is also good but the college has not good placements. Syllabus of CSE and IT are same and companies gives both the branches equal opportunities so if you want to go for software go for IEM but its you choice at the end. Research a lot before joining.

my GMR is 8276 OBC-B rank is 428 and TFW Rank is 1368. can i get CSE or IT in IEM Kolkata as per TFW Quota??

I think there is no chance to get CSE OR IT IN YOUR rank in tfw quota. But you can apply mechanical engineering stream. There is a little chance to get IEM in tfw.

First of all congratulations for your result. The cutoffs change every year as it depends on various factors. And Institute of Engineering and Management is one of the best private Engineering colleges of West Bengal so thw cutoffs are quite high for this college. Now CSE and IT both are the most demanded branches and that's why these seats are filled first. For admission to CSE or IT in IEM, the GMR for TFW candidates lie around 1540 and 3750 respectively. But your GMR is around 8200 and TFW rank is also high compared to seats reserved for TFWs. With your rank it might be difficult to get IEM but you can look for other top colleges such as Techno India Salt Lake, Heritage Institute of Technology etc. Now this is based on last few years' cutoff and this year it might get changed. I got 2519 rank in WBJEE 2020. CSE in HERITAGE or ECE in IEM. Which should i choose??

WBJEE was conducted on February 2 this year and now the result has been announced. You have obtained rank 2519.

Heritage Institute of Technology and Institute of Engineering and Management are good colleges. You are getting CSE and ECE respectively. Both are also good branches. Now it is upto you which branch you go with.

You can choose your branch based on your passion and interest. If you like coding and have to get job instantly you can opt for CSE. If otherwise if you like to get government job and have other interests you can choose ECE. The placement is better in CSE but it is to be noted that ECE does not lag too behind. Therefore choose wisely.
