Hi Aspirant
The most important thing to be considered here is which branch interests you more. Going for a branch that interests you more is more important than the choice of college.
Before joining any branch gather as much information as you can about the respective branch from people who work in that field.
Hope this helps and All the Best.

Abacus Institute is okay for the core Engineering branches but for courses like Computer Science you won't get much benefits. Placements are extremely low and over and above companies don't visit the campus. Rather students have to sit for pool campusing along with JIS group and some other colleges' students.
So if you have some other options for CSE department you can go for that or else if you are not branch specific you can go for the core branches in this college.
Good luck
Yes you can get mechanical or ece with this rank. If you want you can go through management quota also. Other private colleges are techno india where you may get cse. Heritage or uem also. Uem is a branch of iem
hi Suraj,
Since you are inclined towards Computer Science through WBJEE I am telling you you chances in the above colleges according to last round cutoffs of the counselling.
You can get CSE in Haldia by the end of 4th Round.
You won't make the cut in IEM and Heritage as their cutoff ended way above your rank. Be hopeful
Good Luck !!
Hello Santanu,
If you take a look at the average packages the colleges provide there isn't much of a difference. However, considering various other factors, Bangalore College of Engineering should be a preferred choice. Sit and see what suits your convenience and choose the best.
CSE in IEM is far better than getting good university with not so good branches. CSE is in trend I too belong to the same trade so would tell you honestly that just go by the branch, placements are a big issue in such streams so its better you go by the one which has a scope in future.
