I think you should go for IEM Kolkata, because they have high percentage of placements than Heritage Kolkata. 

Though you said IEM has a bad college life but after all that matter is your success in career and I think the college life is not that bad at all.

Institute of Engineering and management will be a better option. It has been ranked higher and is also an affiliated college. Though both are good, IEM has better placements and infrastructure. However, Heritage institute of technology has lower fees and more seats. Hope this helped!

As per the student reviews, there are many placement opportunities available. Students get placements based on their skills and performance.

Abacus Institute is okay for the core Engineering branches but for courses like Computer Science you won't get much benefits. Placements are extremely low and over and above companies don't visit the campus. Rather students have to sit for pool campusing along with JIS group and some other colleges' students. 

Yes you can get mechanical or ece with this rank. If you want you can go through management quota also. Other private colleges are techno india where you may get cse. Heritage or uem also. Uem is a branch of iem

Since you are inclined towards Computer Science through WBJEE I am telling you you chances in the above colleges according to last round cutoffs of the counselling.

You can get CSE in Haldia by the end of 4th Round.

You won't make the cut in IEM and Heritage
