No there is actually no such criteria. It is completely in the hands of the college. A certain GPA cut off is decided by the college, after which the students who score above that criteria are given the opportunity to change their streams. If you are interested in doing so, please have a talk with you HOD at the beginning of the semester , and get to know the cut off for changing the stream.
