IEM Kolkata is perhaps the 5th best Technical Institute for CSE in West Bengal, after IIT KGP, JU, NIT Durgapur and IIEST Shibpur. The Institution has strong faculty and training facilities besides having a strong curriculum and competitive culture. In CSE, Last Placement Season there were nearly 100% Placement with a Median Package anywhere between 4-5 LPA. Top Companies like Wipro, TCS, Cognizant, TCE, Byjus, Capgemini, Deloitte, Infosys, IBM, AppLink, FirstSource recruit from Campus. Secondly, many from IEM CSE, even prepare for GATE and move on to pursue MTech from Higher Technical Institutions in India like Top IITs, IISc Bangalore and many others.

Heritage has a good place if you are looking for an IT based job. IEM is also a very reputed institution and offers excellent placement. A few of my friends also got placed in good IT based companies. But I would recommend IEM, Techno India because it has the best placement.
As per the analyzin report of Careers360 IEM Kolkata & Heritage Institute have AAAA rating which means very good, Techno India has AAA rating which means above average. The rating is based on the research of the colleges on placement, Faculty, Industry Exposure etc. You can check the genuine reviews of the colleges with the given below links.

Hope this information helps you!!
Both IEM and Heritage are known as good colleges with quality placements. However, there is still an upper edge of Heritage over IEM when it comes to quality of teaching in BTech courses, especially BTech CSE. This is because, Heritage is traditionally known to provide quality education in technical fields, but, IEM is more reputed as a Management institute, though its technical school has also gained reputation in the past few years.
As far as placements are concerned, both of them have achieved above 90% placement in CSE department in recent years. While the average placement package of Heritage ranges between INR 5-6 LPA, the average placement package of IEM ranges between INR 4-6 LPA in BTech. The top recruiters from both of these colleges include MNCs like TCS, Wipro, etc. Elite companies like Microsoft have also selected a few students from these colleges.
But, both these colleges are very strict in attendance. Attending at least 75% of the classes are compulsory to be eligible to appear in examination.
