Will I get Instrumentation and Control Engineering at NSS Palakkad if I have 170/960 at KEAM and 276/300 (92%) at +2 CBSE (Normalized score = 329/600)?

Sonali Sahu Student Expert 30th Aug, 2020

Hello,

Yes there is good possibility as your 12th score is high. for Final KEAM score, Both KEAM entrance exam score and 12th score holds equal weightage.  Cutoff varies every year and for current year, cutoff range may not be following the previous year trend due to many factors.

education process got delayed by many months and it will effect the performance of candidates as health risk is the major reason. So do apply for NSS palakkad for ICE (High possibility if your rank is below 35k) along with other college option. You will get it.

for previous year cutoff for NSS palakkad, visit the link:- http://www.cee-kerala.org/docs/keam2018/allot/last_rank_p3.pdf

Hope it helps!

What should I choose textile/ipe engineering at nit jalandhar OR electronics and instrumentation engineering at nit agartala?

Dhruv 6th Oct, 2020
Hello, this also depends on your interest in which branch you are more comfortable.
In my opinion you can go with Nit Agartala.
Both NIT are good and highly ranked.
Placements are good for both colleges.
But Not Agartala is a good choice as branch is good, placements are also good for this branch. This branch has also better placement scope.

Refer to this links  it will help you

can i get jobs in electronic devices /automobile / aviation companies if i persue electronics and instrumentation engineering

Manidipa Kundu Student Expert 23rd Aug, 2020

hi,

see the area you have mentioned in the question like automobile, aviation both of the work has needs for electronics engineer or instrumentation engineer. however there is no surety that the recruitment comes every year in those field. in india there is very less growth in automobiles company or in aviation company. because there is less of manufacturing sector. however there is many company available who makes Integrated chip design, pcb design, software development in where you would get decent paying roles. however before joining any stream you have to think whether the subjects interest you or not, rather than thinking about job roles. however also select college by researching the placement records, students review.

hope you may understand.

what is the scope of electronics and instrumentation engineering is it a grpwing branch

Aishwary Jaiswal 23rd Aug, 2020

hello aspirant,

now-a-days companies are hiring students from the core branches i.e. students from the electronics department, many of the colleges are also removing the instrumentation branch as well.

the subjects in electronics department and instrumentation department are some what same, so, if you are looking for better placements , go for core branches.

hope that helps

b.tech in instrumentation and control engineering , nirma University or electronic and communication engineering in L.D. engineering college , Ahemdabad ? with reasons plz

Aditi amrendra Student Expert 29th Sep, 2020
Hello,

Both the colleges are good but branches matter a lot when it comes to placement and in my personal opinion, instrumentation and control engineering is not a good choice. So, you should go for Lalbhai Dalpatbhai College of Engineering as it is one of the premier engineering college and offers great placement too and also electronics and communication engineering is a good branch to get a placement.

I hope this helps.
