If you're talking about IIIT Bangalore, the admission is not based on JEE Main ranks, but score. You have to apply seperately to IIIT Bangalore. Please visit their website for more details. This is because, it is not Indian IIT... It is International IIT.

IIIT b takes admission on the basis of jee mains. In their website also kcet based admission is not mentioned.

According to me nits is better than iiit banglore. As nits is the most famous college. So according my openion you should go for nits blindly. I am definitely sure that you will appreciate my openion. So all the best have a great future ahead.

IIIT bangalore admissions are on the basis of JEE mains score and then one needs to seprately apply for IIIT-B coumselling.
The last year cutoff in the final round was:
Integrated M.Tech. (iMTech) in CSE-200
Integrated M.Tech. (iMTech) in ECE-190
The final cutoff was 196 and 186 respectively for CSE
