You have very low chances to get any seat in Josaa, if you belongs to any reserved catagory like SC/ST then you have chances to get any college from your home state rank.

Metallurgy is a boring branch. You can go with ECE in IIIT ranchi.

ECE is a good and interesting branch. But there is not any building for IIIT ranchi its own.

Generally, for document verification you are called to the nearest institution under that board, in your case, it may be an IIT, IIIT,NIT or GFTI. So if IIT MADRAS is the nearest to your city you will be asked to report there.
