Internship period varies from 3/4 weeks to 3 months maximum. To secure internship in any of these, you must have good academic record/CGPA ( 3.5+ out of 4 or 8+ out of 10). Make a good profile at linkedIn, mention your achievements, positions of responsibility etc. Keep your resume updated and polished. If you are from tier 1 college then these companies must visit your college and you can have direct chance for internship there. For commerce graduate or postgraduate students has to score at least 50% marks in their exams. And, for non-commerce graduate or postgraduate students, have to score at least 60% marks in their semesters. The candidates are eligible only if they have cleared the level of Company Secretaries of India and Institute of Cost Accountants.

ITT and OP training must be completed before commencement of practical training for the graduate students / Post Graduate students who are taking direct entry in the CA Course. And in order to appear in the Intermediate examination, they need to successfully complete nine months of practical training.

The students who are appearing in the Intermediate examinations through the Foundation route are required to undergo 8 months of study period after registering for Intermediate Course.

The candidates who are there in the last year of their graduation can register for the Intermediate course on the Provisional basis.

However, they can commence practical training only on the successful submission of the proof that they have passed their graduation successfully with the specified percentage discussed above.

Almost all the college of any courses provide some salary during intership yeah it is different for different colleges in some they are paid high and some college pay low. Some may adjust to your hostel fees if you are living in college. But every colleges will pay sine amount during intership for sure. Government College students get paid higher during the intership then the self financing college.
