The B.Sc. course can be both 3 years and 4 years. In the 4-year duration program, you get the Honours program with the research option that provides deeper knowledge about this course. But in the 3-year duration you don't get these perks and facilities.

Hello,

BSc is usually 3 years in most colleges. But under the NEP 2020 (New Education Policy) , many universities have started offering it as a 4-year course .

  • If you complete 3 years, you get a regular BSc degree.

  • If you complete 4 years, you get a BSc (Hons/Research)

B.Sc courses have now become of 4 years because of the implementation of New Education Policy (NEP 2020). Earlier, a B.Sc degree was of only 3 years but now students have both the options i.e. complete all 4 years and get a B.Sc Honours degree or exit after 3rd
