Hello Dear Student,

With 88.80% (444/500) , you have a good chance of getting admission at Ramnarain Ruia Autonomous College, especially in later merit rounds for Arts programs.

Recent cutoff trends show that:

  • BA cutoffs at Ruia have been around 92–94% in early merit lists, but they usually drop in

I am muslim and applied ts eamcet as oc muslim minority got 40300 rank is it possible to get addmission into Muffakham Jah College of Engineering & Technology in cse core or cse aiml branch. Will cutoff be different for muslim minority or same like oc category for me

Devika Malik 21st May, 2026

Hi,

With a rank around 40,300, you actually have a pretty decent chance for CSE specializations like AI&ML or Data Science at Muffakham Jah College of Engineering and Technology under the Muslim Minority quota.

Core CSE may still be difficult because its cutoff usually closes much lower, but AI-related branches

so how much do you need to score in nmimscet exam to get a rank/merit no under 200.. as there are no official source to tell it would be great to have an idea

Devika Malik 21st May, 2026

Hi,

For NIMCET, getting under AIR 200 usually needs a pretty high score. Roughly, you should target around 425–450+ weighted marks to stay in the safe zone for a top 200 rank.

Generally:
• Top ranks → 600–700+
• Around AIR 100 → 450+ range
• Around AIR 200 →

  • CSE
  • ECE
  • EEE.

However, you may still have better chances at other Amrita campuses such as:

  • Amritapuri
  • Chennai
  • Amaravati

Hi,

Yes, after a B.Sc. IT degree, you can apply for some PG courses at Tamil Nadu Agricultural University like MBA Agribusiness Management and certain M.Sc./technology-related programs.

I actually put best of 5 marks based on CBSE ( 90.8%) instead of PCB aggregate (89.2%) during my neet UG registration. I uploaded the original documents of my class 12 marksheet. will it cancel my candidature during my counselling? and do i have to make an affidavit for that, clerical error.

Samyak Jain 21st May, 2026

Hello Dear Student,

During NEET UG registration , candidates must enter the PCB aggregate percentage (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) and not the “Best of 5” percentage.

In your case, entering 90.8% instead of 89.2% is likely a calculation mistake rather than an eligibility issue, since both are above the required cutoff

I completed my B.A. from Taki Government College (West Bengal State University) in 2022. I took admission for M.A. in 2022 but could not attend due to illness. Now I am taking admission for B.Ed. in another college, and they are asking for a migration certificate. How can I get it?

Samyak Jain 21st May, 2026

Hello Dear Student,

To get a migration certificate from Taki Government College, you need to submit a formal request to the college because you had taken admission in the M.A. program earlier, even though you did not continue it.

Documents usually required:

  • Roll/registration number
  • B.A. marksheet or degree copy
  • ID

Samyak Jain 21st May, 2026

Hello Dear Student,

With an 88.97 percentile , your estimated CRL may be around 1.15–1.45 lakh .

Getting core branches in top NITs through JoSAA can be difficult in the General category. However, you still have decent chances in:

  • newer IIITs, and
  • some GFTIs.

Possible nearby options include:

  • IIIT Nagpur
