I have got CSE Core at category 2 in VIT AP is it worth joining

Devika Malik 26th May, 2026

Hi,

Yes, VIT AP CSE Core at Category 2 can be considered a decent option, especially if you do not have better options like top NITs, IIITs, or VIT Vellore/Chennai CSE. VIT AP has centralized placements with VIT campuses, and many students get good placement opportunities in CSE-related roles.

Im a OBC migrant is it eligible for pondicherry university MBA program under pondicherry (quota) seat? or OTHER state quota?

Devika Malik 26th May, 2026

Hi,

If you are an OBC migrant, then eligibility for Pondicherry quota in Pondicherry University MBA mainly depends on whether you have a valid Puducherry domicile/residence certificate. Simply being an OBC migrant may not automatically make you eligible for the Puducherry quota seat. Usually, candidates without Puducherry domicile are considered

if i dont appear in re neet 2026 but appered in neet 2026 does my attempt count for this year because i want to save it

Devika Malik 25th May, 2026

Hi,

Yes, attempts are generally counted only when you actually appear for the exam and your paper gets evaluated. If you skip the re-exam/attempt and do not appear, it normally does not count as an extra attempt.

can i get kmit cse or it at 16k rank bcd girl

Samyak Jain 25th May, 2026

Hello Dear Student,

With a 16k BC-D female rank , getting CSE/IT at Keshav Memorial Institute of Technology is difficult because BC-D girls cutoff usually closes around:

  • CSE: 7k–11k
  • IT: 9k–14k
  • AIML/Data Science: 8k–11k

You can still try in later counselling rounds, but it’s better to keep backup colleges/options ready

My teachers said to me that i should choose that subject in which I can put efforts and got sucsess but Ill interested in PCB because I think that i will put efforrts in this stream but i also want to choose commerce subject just because in present time its a craze of commerce so I also want to it

Devika Malik 25th May, 2026

Hi,

Don’t choose Commerce just because it’s a “craze” right now. Choose the stream where you genuinely feel you can study consistently for 2 years without forcing yourself.

From what you wrote, it honestly sounds like your real interest is in PCB, and you feel you can put effort into

Ive scored 65 percentile in jee mains 2026 and 62% in 12th cbse board 2026 (but my boards marks are not enough to fill the criteria) and in comedk i got 40 marks out of 180 and Im waiting for wbjee result (Im obc female obviously it doesnt give me much or any reservation but will i get cs core

Samyak Jain 25th May, 2026

Hello Dear Student,

With 62% in CBSE , you may not meet eligibility for many NITs/IIITs/GFTIs through JoSAA, but you still have good options for CSE through private colleges and state counselling.

Based on your scores:

  • COMEDK (40 marks): You can target tier-2/tier-3 Karnataka colleges like:
    • Acharya Institute of Technology

I failed in my chem and phy 12th board exams its essential repeat so i will give my re exam as a private candidate in next year and i have scored 51 marks including practical no. in bio. My concern is am i eligible for AFMC?

Samyak Jain 25th May, 2026

Hello Dear Student,

According to AFMC eligibility rules, candidates generally must:

  • pass Class 12 in the first attempt as regular students , and
  • score at least 50% individually in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English .

Candidates with compartment/essential repeat or later improvement attempts are usually not eligible for AFMC admission.

i completed bca.. can i take this course? is it easy for those who studied computer science as bachelor degree.. (but i studied biology science in +1+2)

Devika Malik 25th May, 2026

Hi,

Yes, after BCA you can take many tech-related postgraduate courses, and having a Computer Science background in graduation definitely helps.

Even though you studied Biology in 11th–12th, it usually does not become a major problem because your bachelor’s degree is already in computer applications. Most colleges mainly focus on
