I have 37k SC category rank & 4.6 lack general category rank, can i get admission in DTU or NSIT?

VIVEK KUMAR 10th May, 2019
Hello,

Despite belonging to SC category, with this rank you are not going to get DTU or NSIT. Your CRL rank is too much high for these colleges.

Hope it helps.

How good is UIET CHANDIGARH for CSE branch??

Afreen Shaik 8th May, 2019

Hey Mohim,

Placements at UIET Chandigarh for CSE branch are better than other branches in UIET.

Placements are not an issue there if you perform well in academics and selection process. Getting a job with 3-5 LPA is not a big deal. But getting a job with 7-9 LPA is difficult as few companies offering such packages visit the campus and select at max 3 students. So placements are quite average, still better than other branches of UIET.

Hope this helps :)

I am getting 243 in jee mains accrding to official answer key.can i get cs in nit jaipur or allahabad.

Santwana J Singh Student Expert 15th Apr, 2019

Hello Ayush!

First of all Congratulations for such a decent score. With 243 in JEE MAINS you will definitely get seat in NIT JAIPUR as your rank will be around 5000. In JOSSA maybe you'll not get the seat in the very first round but you'll definitely be getting seat in subsequent rounds.

Hope that helps!

I have secured 81.74 percentile in paper 1 and I belong to ST category.which colleges and courses can I get?

Abhishek Roy Student Expert 5th Mar, 2019

HELLO! ASPIRANTS

Your percentile under ST category is good to get NITs or IIITs with non core branches i.e chemical engineering, metallurgy, minning, production,IT etc.As your rank in ST category will be good to secure because cutoff for general category are going to expect at 85 percentile and that percentile will be enough for securing seat in NITs and IIITs with non core branch or even core branch in home state NIT.For sureity wait till NTA declares rank. You still have one attempt for jee mains 2019, try to score better than your previous score in order to secure core branches in top NITs,just little effort require to secure top NITs under ST category.

You can ask if you have any other queries.

GOOD LUCK!

If we tick all option as B in Jee mains

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 8th Jan, 2019

Dear Arik, I want to tell you of an incident that happened when I was preparing for EAMCET. It is a State Level Entrance Examination for admission into Medical and Engineering colleges in Andhra Pradesh. One of the aspirants from the previous year scored 100% in the entrance examination. Now that was a wonder because the paper was tough. So, the authorities decided to see how he/she scored 100%. What they saw was the most foolish act by a student. He/she rounded of all the options for every answer in the OMR. For example, for Question no. 1, he chose all the answers and rounded off A,B,C,D with the pencil. So ideally, there will be one right answer for every question and the Electronic correcting system will check if the right answer is chosen or not and that's how he/she scored 100%. What happened later is irrelevant but that's an example of smartness taking a wrong route. Now coming to your question, you know that is a silly mistake to commit and when it is about your career, it is a grave mistake. Even going by the rule of probabilities, you cannot predict the outcome of an event until the results are there for everyone to see. You might get 80+ or might not get 80+. But your question should be is it worth wasting an attempt trying to give it to throw a stone in the dark. If it hits then its fine but if you miss it, you lose an attempt.
