The full form for IGDTUW is Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women. As the name suggests, womens/female candidates only, can take admission in IGDTUW. IGDTUW is a Government state university and is reviewed to be one of the finest institutions in Delhi for Technical education.

For more information regarding IGDTUW consider the link below:

DTU or Delhi Technical University is also a Government state university which have been awarded the NAAC A accreditation. It is a CO-ED university, i.e., both male and female students can take admission in this university.

For more information regarding DTU consider the link below:

NSUT or Netaji Subhas University of Technology is also a State Government university. Its also a CO-ED university, so obviously female students can take admission in the courses offered by the university.

For more information regarding NSUT consider the link below:

So, in conclusion, yeah! a female student can apply and take admission in all the three universities, you have mentioned above, if she scores sufficient score / rank in JEE MAINS.

I hope this helps. Wish you a great day!

Ill be giving my board exams next week my term 1 results are phy 35/35 chem 32/35 maths 34/40 now i plan on taking admission in nsut through JAC I wanted to know if the eligibility criteria is 60% pcm aggregate or you need 60+ in each subject individually too ? like would 95,90,59 work for p,c,m ?

Moumoyee Chakraborty 2nd May, 2022

Hey Applicant

Candidates for the B. Tech programme at DTU, IGDTUW, and NSUT must have a cumulative score of 60% or above in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, as well as English as a topic of study in their qualifying test. Furthermore, the candidate must have a JEE Main 2021 Rank (Paper – 1) to be considered for admission. In addition, he or she must have passed each course separately.

Hence based on that if your aggregate score is 60% then you are eligible.

Hope it helps!!!

Is that the top 20 percentile in 12th board students can appear in jee mains and advance 🥺? if I have secured less than 75% in jac board in 12th?

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 28th Mar, 2022

Hi

Guessing you from general category.

You need to be either in top 20 percentile or have at least  75 % in 12th . This criteria is only for JEE advanced & NITs etc. There is no minimum percentage barrier or top 20 percentile criteria to be eligible for JEE main

And for the year 2022 the minimum percentage requirement of 75% or top 20 percentile requirement criteria is not there to be eligible for nits etc and JEE advanced as well . So you are definitely eligible for jee advanced 2022 and jee main ( NITs etc) el irrespective of whether you have 75% or not or even if you are in the top 20  percentile or not

For your reference,

Eligibility criteria of both is given below:-

>>>>>>>>> JEE MAIN

Jee main eligibility criteria is given below-

---------------------------) Qualification required :- to be eligible  for JEE mains you need 10+2/equivalent qualification from a recognised board.

Course

Required Criteria based on Class 12th  or equivalent

B.E/B.Tech

----)Chemistry

-----)Biotechnology

-----)Biology

----) Technical Vocational subject.

B.Arch

Passed qualifying examination with

-----)Mathematics,

-----)Physics,

------) Chemistry

To be eligible for B. Arch , you have at least 50% in aggregate of Physics, chemistry and Maths and also 50 % in overall in 12th

B.Planning

Passed qualifying examination with Mathematics

You must have at least 50% marks in Maths in 12th and also 50% in 12th overall.

-------------------------) Passing year :- one is eligible for JEE main examination for consecutive three years starting from the year of appearing for 12th /equivalent examination i. e to be eligible  for JEE mains 2022 you should be either appearing for 12th board exam or equivalent  in 2022 or should have passed it in 2021 or 2020

-------------------------) There is no age limit to be eligible

-------------------------) there is no minimum percentage requirement to be eligible for JEE Main for BE /Btech.

But yes,

To be eligible for BE/BTech  in NITs, IIITs, CFTIs one needs at least 75% marks in class 12th if belongs to General or OBC category  or at least 65% marks in class 12th if belongs to Sc or St category or needs to be in top 20 percentile of their board examination.

IMPORTANT NOTE :- This  minimum percentage barrier of 75 % - 65% or  top 20 percentile criteria for NITs, IIITs, CFTIs  is not there for jee main 2022 . It means to be eligible all you need to be eligible is to have at least passed 12th .

For detailed information about jee main eligibility criteria  go through our page, the link for which is provided below

https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/jee-main-eligibility-criteria

>>>>>>>>>> JEE ADVANCED

----------------------) 12th /equivalent passing year :-  You can give JEE advanced examination for the maximum of consecutive 2 years starting from the year of appearing for your 12th examination i. e to be eligible for JEE advanced 2022 your 12th board examination appearing year should be either 2022 or 2021

††† IMPORTANT NOTE:-

Considering pandemic, there's one time measure for students who had passed 12th in 2021 & 2020.

  • For 2021 passed :- Those 2021 passed students who had qualified jee main 2021 and had registered for jee advanced 2021 but couldn't appear in the examination are directly eligible for jee advanced 2022 without appearing in jee main 2022.

  • For 2020 passed :- 2020 12th passed students are also eligible for  jee advanced 2022 after qualifying jee main 2022 provided they have appeared in only one of 2020 or 2021 jee advanced or none of them.

Details about it is available at:- https://news.careers360.com/jee-advanced-2022-extra-attempt-iit-entrance-exam-candidates-who-missed-in-2020-2021-jeeadv-ac-in

My OBC-NCL certificate is issued by govt of haryana(caste: sunar also in central list issued by delhi govt) and i am living in delhi from 2015 and also done my schooling in delhi ...Am I allowed to reserve seat under obc category in jac delhi counselling. If not then what should I do. Please guide.

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 12th Mar, 2022

Hi

You are eligible for Delhi quota in jac delhi counselling.

This is because,

You have completed 12th from delhi.

You are not eligible for obc reservation in jac delhi.

This is because,

Jac delhi counselling is a state level counselling and for that you need obc delhi certificate and not Haryana or other state.

Though you are living in Delhi since 2015 in Delhi but do you have any proof of it? Like Delhi voter ID etc? If you are minor then are your parents residents of Delhi for last 3 years have proof for the same like Electricity bill etc?

If yes then you can get delhi domicile certificate made and then get obc ncl certificate issued from Delhi and then can avail reservation in jac delhi otherwise there's no option.

To help you further,

If tell you about eligibility then

JAC Delhi eligibility criteria is different for different colleges :-

>>>> For B.Tech in NSUT, IGDTUW and DTU

  • To be eligible one must pass his or her class 12th board examination with physics chemistry mathematics and English and must have got at least 60% in aggregate of physics chemistry and mathematics

>>>> For B.Tech in IIIT-D

  • to be eligible you must get at least 80% marks in the aggregate of best 5 including physics chemistry and maths. You must also have got at least 80% or more in mathematics

>>>> B.Arch in IGDTUW

  • to be eligible you must have got at least 50% marks  in overall in your class 12th board examination and also you must have got at least 50% marks in aggregate of physics chemistry and mathematics

Jac delhi is on the basis of jee main, so you should fill its application form

This year there are only 2 sessions of jee main.

>>>>>>>>> April session

  • application form release date :- 1st march 2022 ,

  • Application form last date :- 31st March 2022 upto 5 pm

  • April session examination date:- From 16th April to 21st April 2022

which rank is considered for jac and for jossa ews or crl there is lots of confusion

Anushri Varshney 9th Mar, 2022

Hi Aspirants ,

As per your query ,

CRL  is considered for JOSSA  counselling in case of general category students .

if you are apply for JEE Mains Both will be considered in the counselling . CRL rank doesn't depend on category .
Now if you are an EWS category candidate and have given JEE mains as an EWS student then while sitting for counseling fill in yourself as an EWS candidate. For EWS category you must have valid proof and certificate and in all seven rounds of counseling your EWS rank will be considered .

Hope you understand in case of any  query you can revert here.

Thank you.
