jee main 2021 In 98 percentile what is my all india rank ?

Soumili Majumdar 28th Jun, 2021
Hello there,
According to your percentile, your All India Rank will be around 20000 to 23000 approximately. Since you have not mentioned your category, I'm assuming that you are from the general category. With this rank, you can get many good colleges including few NITs and IIITs too.
Also note that the cut-off rank changes every year depending on the difficulty of the paper, and the number of candidates appearing for it.

You can also predict your rank using our rank predictor. The link is given below:

You can use our college predictor to predict the best college for you:

how to calculate the rank basing on percentile. any formula . for obc can you please share

Souhrid Sarkar 9th Apr, 2021
Hello,

Percentile can be calculated by :

Total Percentile (TP) = 100 x (No. of candidates appeared from the session with raw score EQUAL TO or LESS than T1 score/ Total No. of candidates appeared in the session)

For example,
Suppose, 10000 candidates will give the exam and one of the candidate secures 5th rank, His/her exam percentile will be calculated as below:

P = 10000-5/10000*100

Hence his/her percentile will be 99.95.

In the same way,you can calculate the All India Quota Rank (OBC in case for you)

Hope it helps
Thank You !!!!

The ranks written in the obc cutoff catagory are obc ranks or genaral ranks?

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 13th Mar, 2021

Hi

I am guessing that your question is in regarding with cutoff for engineering college like NITs ,IIITs etc on our page or Josaa's page.

The cutoff rank mentioned on these pages for OBC are OBC category rank and not general/ CRL  rank.

Actually,

only for open or general category the  mentioned cutoff rank is CRL rank but for all the other categories like OBC, SC ,sT ,ews the mentioned cutoff rank is respective category rank

For previous year cut offs of top colleges like NITs, IIITs, GFTIs , you can refer our page at :-

Dear aspirant,

First of all congratulations for securing 98 percentile in the jee mains Feb session. If you want to join the top nits like surathkal Warangal Calicut or allahabad then you can easily get atleast core branches. But if you would go for middle order nits like Rourkela , jalandhar , jamshedpur,Silchar you can get non core branches easily.

i scored 97.18 percentile in feb 2021 what rank cani secure

Ashish Kumar Verma 10th Mar, 2021

Hello Dear,

As the percentile mentioned by you your AIR rank must be between 26321 - 21321. There is a chance that you can get NIT on General rank . If you comes under any reserved category then there is a chance you can get NIT in any desired branch but as you know cut off depends upon the number of seats available, the difficulty level of paper and number of candidates writing the examination. And, hence varies every year depending on these factors. You have not mentioned your home state and the branch you want to choose. You can check the rank vs percentile vs marks below:

https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/jee-main-marks-vs-percentile

You can check our predictors link to know more about the college which you can get
