Hello Aspirant,
Since you have not mentioned your category so considering it as General or Open category and your Home state as Tamil Nadu according to your profile.
As we go through the latest cut-off of 2020 then it shows that the closing rank for NIT Trichy was 615 for B.Arch in NIT Trichy under Home state quota for Open category or General category. Now to secure such rank you should have your JEE-Main 2021 paper 2 score at least 350-360 marks out of 400.

According to your query, and taking into account that you want to know if an 85 percentile is acceptable enough for applying in cap rounds, the answer is yes.
I'd want to inform you that an 85 percentile is insufficient to apply for cap rounds because the cutoffs are rather high, and if you scored well, you'd be in a better position.
Hey there!
I am sorry to inform you but careers360 doesn't have a college as such where you can take admission. If you want to know about any other colleges we'd be happy to answer your query. Based on your percentile, you might not get a government college for architecture like NITs and SPAs but you could check out the jee paper-2 college predictor using the link provided underneath the answer.
