Hello Dear,
It can be said based upon the previous trend of a few years that in order to score 90 percentile, candidates need to have a score of at least 70 to 75 marks.
Paper 2 consists of General Aptitude, drawing and Mathematics with total of 83 (Aptitude has 50 questions, mathematics has 30 and drawing has 3 questions). 4 marks is given for each correct answer, 1 mark will be cut for every wrong answer, 0 marks will be given for unanswered questions.
Good Luck
Dear aspirant,
According to your question, B. architecture course is available in very less number of NITs and so the minimum percentile would be a bit high if you want to get a seat in these colleges.
The colleges which offer this course are-
1-NIT Trichy
2-NIT karnataka
3-NIT jaipur
4-NIT patna
5- NIT Nagpur
The minimum percentile required would be 98 atleast.

Hello,
Percentile is equal to the percentage of candidates who have scored equal or less score than you in the exam. And it depends on the factors like total number of candidates appeared, normalised score, top score, number of candidates in each category, tie breakers etc. These numbers changes every year so it is difficult to predict the exact marks with which you can score 97 percentile. So the approximate score that you should aim to score is 340-360 marks out of 400 marks in JEE Main Paper 2. This is an estimated score your actual percentile may slightly vary after after the results depending on the above mentioned factors.
Hi
As you have not mentioned your category I am considering you from general category
This is a bit difficult to predict the marks required in JEE mains to get a seat in NIT trichy as cut off rank keeps changing every year depending upon various factors like number of students that appeared in the exam, kind of marks obtained by them , toughness level of the jee main paper 2 examination .
When we go through previous year trend then , In round 6 of josaa counselling 2020 , for general neutral under home state to get Architecture (5 Years, Bachelor of Architecture) in National Institute of Technology, trichy ,615 was closing rank You can check the same at https://josaa.nic.in/Result/Result/currentorcr.aspx
And 615 rank is around 310 marks out of 400 marks in jee main paper 2.
So, to be on the safer side try to get at least 310 marks or more in your jee main 2021
Now, limited time is left for jee mains 2021 , so focus on your preparation, to prepare well your jee examination, go through chapters first and your focus should be on grasping concepts , practising questions and then revising them, go through mock test paper sample papers and previous year question papers as it will let you know your preparation level and and weak areas so that you can work on them and perform well in your examination.
