I got 75 percentile in jee mains which college I got for mechanical engineering. I am from Jharkhand And BC-1 Category belong

shravyamdsce 14th Oct, 2020

Hi Aspirants,

Despite having OBC reservation benefits, with 75 percentile in JEE Mains, you would not be able to get any NITs or IIITs for mechanical Engineering.

Other colleges, which you can get on this score, will not be decent enough to pursue mechanical engineering.

Anyway, I will suggest you visit this link for college prediction - https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-college-predictor?icn=jee-main-cp-lp&ici=nav-header_engg

All the best.

3.IIIT,Allahabad

4.Jamia Milia Islamia,Delhi

5. Guru Nanak Dev University,Punjab and so on

Some private institutions also accept JEE main score.

The cutoffs of the exams for each category will be published on the official website of JoSAA. If you qualify the exam with cutoff or more you can apply for admissions. I have domicile certificate of jharkhand but i did my 10th and 12th from delhi so will i be applicable for state quota or not in jharkhand for NEET 2020..??

vishesh kumar 4th Sep, 2020

Hi,

Yes you are eligible for the state quota of Jharkhand provided that you have the valid legal documents of domicile from Jharkhand State. At the time of reporting to the center during admission process, you need to provide these documents along with other certificates as mentioned in the NEET guidelines.

Hope this will solve your query.

i am from jharkhand and i am scoreing 530 in neet 2020 but i know the fact that my states mbbs seat cuttoff will very high so have i a chance to get a seat through all india quota for goverment college or semi goverment college in another state in 530 marks

Rishita hari 14th Oct, 2020

Dear student,

Assuming you are from general category, 530 marks will not be sufficient enough for a guranteed seat in Gov. college.

As, this year cutoff is going to be very high so it will be more challenging, now for jharkand college wise cutoff please follow the link https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-cutoff-jharkhand

You don't have any chance in gov. medical college but have chance for gov. dental college Rajendra institute, Ranchi.

And in 15% AIQ seats also the cutoff is more than 570 minimum. For other state semi gov seats you are not eligible, you have to possess that state's domicile to avail.

But you can also check this link for other colleges you have chances in https://medicine.careers360.com/neet-college-predictor?icn=QnA&ici=qna_answer

what is the domicile policy of jharkhand for NEET 2020 ?

vishesh kumar 4th Sep, 2020

Hi,

I would like to inform you that domicile policy of Jharkhand means that you should posses a domicile certificate from Jharkhand state. If you dont have the domicile certificate of Jharkhand then you won't be able to recieve the home state quota for state colleges.

Hope this will solve your query.

I have completed my 10th and 12th from Jharkhand .In my NEET 2020 application form I have mentioned Bihar as my State of eligibility for 85%quota . Now I came to know that Class 11 and 12 th passing from Bihar is necessary to avail such quota. Can I appear in Jharkhand counseling for 85%State quota

anirudha vats 13th Sep, 2020

Hey,

Usually different states have different criteria of domicile. As far as your question is concerned, if you have a permanent residence in bihar then you are eligible for the Bihar 85% quota during NEET counseling. Along with it if u have completed your higher secondary schooling from Jharkhand, you can avail the benefit of state domicile over there also.

So a student can avail  multiple domicile as far as the criteria to prove your domicile is satisfied.

Hope that helps.

Thank you.

580 from jharkhand then medical college

S. Saha Student Expert 13th Oct, 2020
580 in Neet is quite a good score. You know that the cutoffs change every year so it is quite difficult to predict. Now if we go through last year's data, then you have fair chances of getting Patiputra Medical College as last year this college had the cutoff score of 580 under 85% state quota. Getting any other colleges will bw tough as they have higher cutoffs. Adding to this, last year MGM Medical College Jamshedpur had the cutoff score of 583 marks for state quota candidates. If this year the cutoff decreases, you have chances there. You can check the cutoffs here http://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-cutoff-jharkhand But keep in mind that these are last year's cutoffs and this year the cutoffs may change. So I would suggest you to use Neet College Predictor Tool to know where you have good chances http://medicine.careers360.com/neet-college-predictor?icn=QnA&ici=qna_answer

can I get a govt medical seat in ai or state qouta (Jharkhand & Haryana) iam obc.. getting around 512 marks in neet 2020?

ABHIK SHAW 11th Oct, 2020

Hello,

Based upon your marks and the category, it will difficult for you to get a government seat for 15% All India Quota seats in both Haryana and Jharkhand.

it would had been better if you had mentioned your domicile, to predict the colleges for 85% Sate Quota seats in your domicile. The cutoffs for general category and OBC are almost same, with a very less difference.

Check out these college predictor to predict your colleges -
