can i persue B.tech from outside the Jharkhand,if i have completed diploma from Jharkhand?

Aditi amrendra Student Expert 1st Jun, 2020
Hello,

Yes, you can pursue B.tech from any college in India after completing diploma. There are mainly two options for it.
1.You can appear in various lateral entry examinations conducted by private colleges and state level colleges.
2. You can appear in JEE mains examination and if you can crack it then you will get chance to appear in JEE advance (however you wont be able to get admission in any college through JEE mains score). If you will get good score/rank in JEE advance then you can get admission 1st year of b.tech in IITs.

I hope this helps.

dear respected sir or maam i am khushi from jharkhand 2018 me 12th board me meri health kharab hone ke karan mera 1 year ka gap ho gya 2020 me mene ex-regular board exam diye or neet ki prepration bhi kr rhi hu me afmc mbbs pune me jane ke liye eligible hu? gap ka koi issue toh nhi hoga???

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 24th May, 2020

Khushi, should you qualify in NEET and secure a seat in AFMC, there should not be any reason why you cannot take admission in AFMC. Now there is no upper age limit for NEET and NIOS Candidates or repeaters also can appear for NEET. So even if you have had a gap of 2 years between, if you hae completed your 12th  and passed in all subjects and secured the minimum required aggregate of 50% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology, you are eligible for NEET. It is 50% for General Category, 45% for PWD and 40% for OBC,SC,ST.

To help you with your NEET preparation, we have NEET Knockout packages that you can check at: https://learn.careers360.com/knockout-neet-may/.

can I get admission under lucknow university in ba economic honours program, I am from jharkhand jamshedpur and pass ISC board with 75% marks

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 29th Jun, 2020

Ved, according to the official website, BA Economics Hons has 60 seat intake every year. This is for both Candidates who have UP Domicile and who belong to other States as well. Now to be eligible for BA Economics Hons for University of Lucknow, you should have completed your Intermediate or Equivalent examination with a minimum aggregate of 60%. It is 60% for General Category and OBC and it is 55% for SC/ST. This aggregate is based on the total  marks of all subjects. You can take admission to BA Economics Honours Programme even if you belong to Jharkhand and do not hold the domicile of UP. SC/ST/OBC Candidates of other States other than UP cannot claim reservation and they will be treated as General. So. if you belong to SC/ST/OBC you can apply for this programme but you will be treated as General Category Candidate. In the faculties of Law, Arts , Commerce, Science and Fine Arts, admission to UG programmes is through merit scored in the entrance exam. With 75% in your Intermediate or equivalent exam, even if you belong to Jharkhand, you are eligible for applying for the entrance exam and then taking admission in the University of Lucknow.
