Yes, you can appear in IIT JAM examination even after 2-3 years of passing your qualifying examination
This is because,
There's no cap or barrier on the number of years one remain eligible after passing the degree. Also, there is no age limit for iit jam
So, you are eligible for IIT JAM even after 2-3 years provided
You must have passed your qualifying degree examination with at least 50% marks in your graduation or if it is in terms of cgpa then you need to have at least 5 CGPA out of 10 to be eligible if you belong to General / OBC category or you must have got at least 55% in your graduation or at least 5.5 CGPA on a scale of 10 to be eligible if you belong to Sc or ST or PWD category
