Hi Arpit!

The net percent is required overall i.e the best of five subjects and the minimum percent required is 75 overall.

Anything above thisn is going to work whereas anything below it won't even though one qualifies in the entrance exam.

In jee mains 2019 for ews correction I opened and submitted again previous details then I am not below to ews so can I change in jee advance

Hi dear,

You cannot change your category.you will consider as a general student if you failed to submit your ews certificate and you will not able to get advantage.you have to clear cutoff as a general category student for taking admission in IITs.

Congratulations to your daughter ! Actually the cut off has not been released so it's impossible to tell you whether your daughter is eligible or not for JEE ADVANCED because generally the cut off varies from year to year .

Hello Sarvesh! 

As per the notification released by nta regarding scores. The best of the two score be considered. As you have changed category, there is no effect on common list rank but it would affect category rank(final category that you have entered).

Yes you can change the both application form and as well as photo also in the jee mains april session but the correction window will be available from march 11th to march 15th 2019 so pease make sure the changes within these dates

Yes all the IITs and  NITs and IITs offer EWS reservation.  In order to avail this benefit, you need to get your EWS done.

For getting an EWS certificate, take following documents,

  • Aadhaar Card (mandatory)
  • Income Certificate (mandatory)Pan Card (mandatory)
  • Caste Certificate
  • BPL Card
  • Bank Statement
  •  Recent Passport

Hello Sasianandh,

Definitely your percentage in 10th and 12th standard matters a lot in your selection to elite colleges like IITs or NITs. But you also need to clear their cutoff in JEE. You need to score a high percentile.

Chances to qualify for JEE Advance are very slim if u belong to General category. If u belong to other category then u r almost 99% qualified
