No, its not necessary to qualify both january and april jee If you will qualify jee mains april with required marks to give jee advance then you definitely will be allowed to appear in jee advance.

yes for undergraduate course admission in IIST THIRUVANANTHAPURAM, you need to be qualified in JEE MAINS AND JEE ADVANCE.

As per the guidelines provided by NTA for jee main eligibility, you have to score  either overall 75% in your 12th board or your 12th board score should fall under top 20 percentile in that year.

Hi Candidate,
According to your percentile your general rank should be around 1.66 lakh.
Last year 2,24,000 candidates qualified for JEE advance( among which 107464 students were from general open category),so you do have high chances to qualify for JEE advance.
