According to your son's percentile in jee mains his General rank will be around 58k and obc rank will be around 18k.

With this rank he will be definitely qualify for jee advanced don't worry about it also he will able to get seat in nits.

yes your best marks will be calculated as final result.

no dear individual marks will not be calculated .only your total percentage will be calculated.

total percentile will comparises these syubject marks-

  • physics
  • chemistry
  • mathematics
  • language(If you have taken two languages,then best of two will be taken.)

I have got 73 % in board if i write improvement exam in same year than am i eligible for jee advance conducted in same year.

Hi dear,

If you write improvement exam and get 75 percent then you are eligible for advance but your result must be release before taking admission in IITs.If you write exam this year and your result will release before July then you can take admission in iits.

            Placements depends on your college as well as your department. But whatever you're studying, if you want get placed in top IT sectors, then your stream is not matter. If you have knowledge about programming language, data structures & algorithm, then you will be placed in any company.
