I don't think you need to drop.

Since you have qualified JEE Mains, you can apply for other private colleges or universities which accept JEE Mains scores!

Hi,
You might not get any iit seat because the iit seats are almost full till rank 7000. So it might be a possibility that you get good private college. So go for counselling. You might get a good college. All the best!
