Freeze- It means you have been allotted a seat and you have accepted it and you don't wanna participate in the further rounds of counselling. In josaa councelling you have to pay seat acceptence fees when you allotted any seat in first time in any round.after this if you participate in further rounds and don't satisfied from alloted seat then on official website of josaa.you have to fill required details of bank account

Dear student,

If you don't want any seat in any josaa round counseling, then simply you have to do is - do not accept it or take no action. Then automatically you will lose your seat, either in first round or further rounds.

As your options have been freezed in the JOSAA counselling you will have to upload the caste certificate or your application for 1st round will be rejected.Once the options have been freezed you cannot change your category to general.So do not panic as there are 7 rounds in

It is not necessary for one to get a seat alloted in the first round of JOSAA itself. If you didn't get a seat in the first round of counselling in JOSAA counselling, go for the next rounds. As there are 6 rounds for JOSAA, you can try
