 I can only tell you that on the basis of the given rank that you have scored in KIITEE, you will not be able to get branches like CSE ,IT  on merit basis but you may get branches like EEE,ETC,mechanical and civil. Though students securing ranks upto 60K are being considered and are being called for COUNSELLING,yet the selection might be tough. 

The only possibility of getting admission in your desired branch is through managment quota.

The university is best in every aspect whether it is academics or other activities.
They have a very well designed campus and in the last few years ,it has improved many hostel rooms, classrooms, campus etc.Hostels are very neat & clean and the College campuses have beautiful sights. Here you can find food from every parts of India.The hostel food is much better than other universities and the teachers here are very helpful and friendly.I assure you that you won't regret after taking admission here.

Being a student of KIIT Deemed To Be University,I personally recommend you to join KIIT since it is best known for the placements in CSE.Every year various companies hire students offering them 8-30 lakhs of annual package.The university has well constructed and designed labs and facilities for the students.

The university is best in every aspect whether it is academics or other activities.
They have a very well designed campus and in the last few years ,it has improved many hostel rooms, classrooms, campus etc.Hostels are very neat & clean and the College campuses have beautiful sights. Here you can find food from every parts of India.The hostel food is much better than other universities.(though the weather might be annoying at times but still better than VIT!)In VIT there might be arise difficulties due to their weather ,language and cuisine.Communication becomes a problem there since most of the native people there prefer speaking in Tamil.You need to get acquainted with the Sour and Spicy food given.The faculties in KIIT are much better than those in VIT as I have heard from my friends studying in VIT.Overall KIIT is a college that anyone could ask for.

Every private universities has students who come through donatation but here ,the number is way less than VIT.The fee structure of KIIT is also less  as compared to VIT.In overall comparison KIIT is a good university which has transparent system of education but in VIT condition isn’t the same.

I would suggest you to join KIIT University on these basis,however, whichever university you choose, it is upto the individual to perform and master the skills. After all it's you who is going to represent your Alma Mater.

First of all Congratulations for securing a good rank in KIITEE exam. With this rank you can easily get branches like EEE,EIE,ECSE,mechanical,civil. Just because you are selected for first round of counselling doesn't mean that your admission has been confrimed in KIIT.You need to attend the counselling where you need to book a seat for yourself in your desired branch and also if that branch is available as per your rank.After the counselling only, the authorities will let you know the Admission date which mostly occurs in the first week of July.That day important documents such as your Birth Certicate,Board Certificates,Conduct Certificate and various essential documents shall be verified to see if the information confirms with the eligibility criteria. If all the criterias are successfully fulfilled,That will confirm your final admission in KIIT.So be prepared.

As far as ranking is concerned the most authentic one considered is the Official MHRD Ranking (National Institutional Ranking Framework, Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India): MHRD, National Institute Ranking Framework (NIRF) In 2016, KIIT university got 32nd rank while SRM University campus didn’t even manage to get into top 100 university list.In 2017, SRM university ranks 35th position while KIIT University got 47th rank and now in 2018,SRM university ranks 41st position whereas KIIT ranks 42nd position.And also both are DEEMED Universities status wise.

On the basis of previous years cut offs and rank secured by you in KIITEE, there are high chances for you to get Information Technology (IT) branch, but there are no or low chances to get Computer Science (CS) branch, in Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology. 

With your rank secured in VITEEE, there are no chances for you to get IT in VIT Vellore as cut off of previous years is around 12000 to 17000 closing ranks.

No. That fee is not refundable. That fee is refundable on the time of counseling but not after that, refund provision is entertained after you take admission.

It is clearly mentioned before the time of counseling. 

If you don't take admission in this college they will return the money after deducting 6000 as counseling fee. Also, initiate the refund process asap as you won't be getting any refund after reporting date.
