Firstlt, if your rank is below 4000, you can easily get CS/IT. If rank is below 2000, then there is no question. Since your rank is 4004, you may or may not get CS. As the competition is increasing and CS is been in demand like always and

It is mentioned in the brochure of KIIT that they need 60 % in 12 class. Bit it is a private college so its counselling procedure is not very strict like jossa or bits pilani. I know few students got admission in this college with 50 % marks

Yes you can easily prepare for GATE exam in KIIT. The level of preparation will decide your rank in this examination. Anybody can prepare for this exam from any college. I will tell you that you should join it , if you want to clear the GATE
