What are minimum marks obtain to get seat in skimms kashmir under EWS catergory.

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 6th Jul, 2020

Rohit, we do not have EWS data. Nevertheless, in 2019 under State Quota, the cut offs for various Categories have been as follows:

Open Merit: 536

SC: 430

ST L: 313

ST K: 493

Now this is 2019 data and we do not have EWS data with us. But going by this you will  need atleast 500-550 for a seat in SKIMS. This is just an approximate number because cut offs change ever year. Cut offs change every year depending on various factors such as no.of Candidates appearing for the exam, no.of Candidates qualified, top NEET score and difficulty of the exam. A score of 550 can get you a seat in this College under EWS Category.

The MHRD has come up with a new schedule for JEE Mains, JEE Advanced and NEET 2020. JEE Main examination will be held between 1st-6th Sept, JEE advanced exam will be held on 27th Sept & NEET examination will be held on 13th Sept. And the correction window has been made avaiable from July 4th to 15th. So if you want to make any changes to your application, now is the time. And if you are preparing for NEET, you may as well try our NEET Knockout package: https://learn.careers360.com/knockout-neet-may/ .

BDS CUTTOFF IN KASHMIR . lowest CUTTOFF

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 26th Jun, 2020
Hi

You have not mentioned the category you belong to so I am  assuming  you from general category if you belong to any other category then do let me know in comment .

In neet 2019, 351 marks was the lowest marks that was required for general category for getting a government quota BDS seat and it was for Institute of Dental Science, Sephora, Jammu which is a private college while 480 marks was  the lowest to get a BDS seat in a government college and it was for Government Dental College, Srinagar under state quota

But cut off marks  keeps changing every year depending upon various factors like number of students that appeared in the exam, kind of marks obtained by them , toughness level of the examination etc.

So , you should try to get at least  500  marks to be on the safer side to get into government college and at least 400 marks for a Government quota seat in private dental college in Kashmir

Thankyou
