Kashmiri
Hi there,
As per a recent notification issued by the MHRD, the ministry had decided that the concessions available for Kashmiri migrants will also be available to non-migrant Kashmiri Pandits or Kashmiri Hindu families, for admission into higher educational institutions in other parts of the country from the 2020-21 academic session. The concessions granted to students include relaxation in cut-off percentage up to 10 per cent subject to minimum eligibility requirement, increase in intake capacity up to five per cent in each course and reservation of at least one seat in merit quota in technical and professional institutions.
Rashika, would you like to know if there is any reservation as such for Kashmiri migrant student or training Institutions for MBA entrance exams? Can you help us with this please?
Hello Rashika,
As a Kashmiri Migrant, you must have graduation degree with at least 50% of marks by any of the university recognized by UGC. You must have qualified any of the following entrance exams such as MAH CET 2020, GMAT, CAT, MAT, XAT and CMAT.
For applying through any exam or directly to some college, while filing the form you can mention there in the given options under reserved categories that you are a Kashmiri migrant and you will get it's benefits. You should have required documents for verification.

Hii Aryan!
The cutoffs vary every year based on certain factors. In the year 2019, the maximum cutoff percentile was 89. 75. The expected cutoff for the year 2020 is 89. 7548, but it may differ as well. So, you need to score well to get admissions in good Colleges in Maharashtra.
Hope this helps.
Good luck!
Hi Aryan!! Hope you are doing well!!! You have got a decent percentile in your jee mains. Since, you are a kishmiri migrant, you can surely get some good colleges in maharshtra thorough J&K reservation quota, but it also depends on the branch you want to take and it's cutoff. You may not get govt. Colleges and some best colleges but you can still get admission to private or university colleges. You can also try giving MHTCET as it can give you a chance to improve your score and chances for admission in govt. Colleges in Maharashtra.
CLAT is necessary to take admission in Gujarat National Law University (GNLU) and the university provides for reservation to J&K Migrants, but you will have to give CLAT in order to get admission in GNLU, however, it is not compulsory to give CLAT if you want to take admission in any other university in Gujarat. You have not provided the specific university/college in which you want to apply, i would suggest you check the website of the university you wish to apply and check the entrance criteria of that university. For your reference i have provided a list of Gujarat based universities who offer BA.LBB as a course, https://law.careers360.com/colleges/list-of-government-law-colleges-in-gujarat
