You have not mentioned the name of the course that you want to study at Kasturba Medical College, Manipal. However, if you want to get admission for the MBBS course, you will need to appear NEET-UG and score good marks in order to get admission at KMC. While, some programs also require you to appear the MET, i.e. Manipal Entrance Test for admission, and some programs require you to appear DT, i.e. Department Test.

Their are two quotas which are applicable in the mentioned colleges,i.e, Management quota and Open Quota.

Management quota has fees of approximately 30 lakhs +per year in the above colleges and the cutoff is around 200 marks.

Open quota has fees of around 8 lakhs per year and the cutoff is around 560 marks.

Fees is paid annualy only.

Actually all of this college have separate girls and boys hostel with all kinds of modern equipment including water facilities , Strict rules, electricity generator food etc.

They also provide sharing and single rooms. Actually, you have not told which type of customisation you want. So it is quite difficult to say whether you can customise or not.

Yes you can easily get the course but I think that maybe you will face some problem in the course as it will be mostly based on hindi.

It would be better if you choose BA in English, it would have more scope for your career and also it would be easy for you to understand and you will end up getting better scores in your exams.

Harsha, 2019 was the first year that EWS reservation was implemented. And we do not have 2019 data yet. But in 2018 under State Quota, 534 marks secured a seat in KMC under General Category. Now we understand that you belong to EWS Category but what needs to be remembered is that EWS Category was taken from General Category and the cut offs are more or less the same. And to add on, in 2019, the individual cut offs increased on an average by 60-75 marks. And cut offs change every year depending on various factors such as no.of Candidates appearing for the exam, no.of Candidates qualified, top NEET score and difficulty of the exam Considering all this, you will need atleast 580 for a seat in KMC under State Quota for EWS Category. This is just an expected cut off because we cannot predict exact score that you might need. For admission to various programs at Kurnool Medical College, a candidate has to clear NEET exam.

1. For UG courses :

• Eligibility: Minimum of 50% aggregate marks in PCB/Biotech combined.
• Apply to the college through NEET UG Medical Scorecard for which the candidate who belongs to Open Category(OC) is required to obtain marks equivalent to atleast 50 percentile to qualify.
• The cutoff score is expected to fall in the range of 701- 137.

2. For PG course:

• Eligibility: Graduation and Bachelor Degree in Medicine(MBBS)
• Apply to college through NEET PG Medical.
• For OC, NEET PG cutoff percentile is 50th and score expected would be around 366.

Since you mentioned EWS, you can ask for fee concession (which would depend on college administration)
