kea ugneet during choice filling in kea ug neet, is there an option to lock the choices or are we supposed to just fill the choices and take their printout?

Karishma Sawhney 1st Feb, 2022

Hello aspirant,

In Karnataka NEET UG counseling, there is no option to lock the choices. When you have arranged your list of colleges you want to take admission in preference-wise, there is an option of "Save and submit". After that, you can take a printout of your choices. The provision to change option entry by eligible candidates (add/alter/rearrange/delete) will be available till 10 am of 3.2.22.

Hope it helps!

kea ugneet if we opt for choice 2 in first round, when do we have to go for submission of documents? Before or after second round result declaration?

Sharon Rose Student Expert 31st Jan, 2022

Hello,

Candidates who have selected choice 2 after the first round seat allotment need to pay the prescribed fee by KEA by downloading the challan. Only the candidates who have paid the fee before the last date will be eligible to participate in second round. You do not have to report at the allotted institute as you cannot download the admission order. After second seat allotment you need to download the new challan and the fee paid details which you have paid earlier, will be printed on the Challan. The fee paid in the earlier round will be adjusted for the seat allotted in this second round. After downloading the challan. If there is no difference in the fees paid and the fees in the allotted college in second round you need to download the admission order from the KEA Website. Enter the login credentials and you have to report at the allotted institute on or before the last date mentioned in the Admission Order.

PGCET-My choice entry wasnt uploaded after PGCET first round allotment, due to server traffic. As mentioned in the brochure am not eligible for next procedure,is der any possibilty to attend second round allotment if i visit kea office directly and request them to solve my problem. kindly reply

piyush singh 26th Jan, 2022

Hello Aspirant

It is very sad that you have missed the chance to fill and submit the choice filling, but since the time period for submitting the choices is already over, you can't attend the counseling or simply put can't get a seat through PGCET.

Even if you try to go to the officials at their office it won't help you because there was enough time to submit the choices, yes you could have faced the issue due to high server traffic, but there is no way for you to continue further rounds and process of counseling.

You can try and give the exam next year, but the best option will be to look for other colleges and maybe some other course.

Hope this helps

Do colleges or kea increase PGCET mba cuttoff for 2nd round 2nd option entry for choice 2 students if yes then how much will they increase or they just allot the seats if the seats are left.

Sharon Rose Student Expert 25th Jan, 2022

Hello,

As per the information available in the Karnataka PGCET 2021 Information brochure the seat allotment is based on preferences of candidate and seat availability. So in any round the a seat is allotted based on seat availability and preferences of the candidate and not based on cut off. The cutoff only indicates the last rank under each category admitted to a particular college / course during the previous year. One should not exercise options based on cut-off ranks as it is subjected to change every year. It can be only seen as reference.  The options should be exercised purely based on the interest of the candidate. It is quite difficult to predict the cut off for second round and by how much it may increase or decrease until the second round is concluded. So to check the second round cut off please wait until the cut off released on the KEA website.

Hello,

If you do not pay the prescribed fee by KEA the seat allotted will gets cancelled and that cancelled seat will be considered in second round for seat allotment. If you do not may the prescribed fee after selecting choice 2, you will not be eligible to participate in subsequent rounds of the counselling. The date to make the Payment of Fee and Download Admission Order is January 24, 2022. If you wish to participate in further round you need to pay the fee, download the admission order and report at the allotted institute. After paying the fee If you wish to surrender the seat before the last date for second round option entry, the fee will be refunded after deducing Rs. 5000 from the paid fee.
