is there any chance for an ews Candidate from kerala to get a govt mbbs anywhere in India under aiq with all India rank 2 lakh and general state rank 14000 with ews reservation..

piyush263001 16th Dec, 2021

Hello,

NEET 2021 results have been declared by the National Testing Agency NTA.

To predict whether you will definitely get a seat in a college is an uphill task as cut-offs for colleges change every depending upon several factors such as-

• Number of applicants in NEET exam

• NEET question paper difficulty level

• Score of the candidates in NEET 2021 result

• MBBS/BDS seat matrix 2021

NEET 2021 Cut-off goes like :-

• General /EWS- 50th percentile

• SC/ST/OBC - 40th percentile

• General-PwD - 45th percentile

• SC/ST/OBC-PwD - 40th percentile

Marks wise cut off is as following-

• General - 720-138

• OBC/SC/ST - 137-108

• Gen PwD - 137-122

• (OBC /SC / ST ) PwD - 121-108

Though it was expected that due to higher difficulty level of examination cut-off for colleges will decrease, but it turns out students have performed exceptionally well and the cut offs for colleges is expected to increase compared to last year.

See it is quite difficult to help you with the exact list of colleges as the counselling is yet to be conducted and the cut-offs keep on changing every year.

You need to score atleast 650+ marks to be on safe side for getting MBBS in Government Medical Colleges through All India Quota.

The marks you have scored in your NEET 2021 examination seems not enough to get a seat in All India Quota seats & State quota seats for MBBS & BDS programme. However you might want to try getting a seat in few Private colleges & deemed Universities.

With the details you have provided, you might have chances in Deemed universities( very high fees)-

• Chettinad Hospital and Research Institute, Kelambakkam- MBBS

• Manipal College of Dental Sciences, Manipal- BDS

• Bharati Vidyapeeth Dental College and Hospital, Pune- BDS

• GITAM Institute of Medical Sciences and Research, Visakhapatnam- 197 Marks

•BVDU Medical College and Hospital, Sangli:- 311 marks

• Aarupadai Veedu Medical College and Hospt., Puducherry:- 192 marks

•Sree Balaji Medical College and Hospital, Chennai:- 189 marks

• Shri Satya Sai Medical College and RI, Kancheepuram:- 173 marks

• Meenakshi Medical College Host. and Res. Inst., Chenna:- 169 marks

• Saveetha Medical College, Chennai:- 265 marks

• Dr. DYP Edu. Soc. Deemed Uni., Kolhapur:- 262 marks

• Vinayaka Missions Medical College and Hospital, Karaikal:- 257 marks

• Krishna Institute of Medical Sc., Karad:- 253 marks

• Sri Lakshmi Narayana Inst. of Med. Scien., Puducherry:- 152 marks

The candidates who fulfill the Karnataka domicile eligibility criteria can apply for MBBS, BDS admission through NEET karnataka admission 2021. Hello aspirant,

Hope you are doing well. It is difficult for you to get government seat for mbbs in 85% state quota as well as in all India quota. Your AIQ rank should be around 1.2 - 1.5 lakh to get government seat.

For qualifying in NEET, students must have toscore minimum of 50 percentile for UR and 40 percentile for SC/ST/OBC category.

And to get admission in the Good Private Medical college you must score at least 350 marks in NEET UG 2021.

Im from kerala how can i apply for mbbs seat in tamilnadu and karnataka. Im sc student whats last rank to get admsn.

dishtiv 15th Dec, 2021
Hello aspirant!
Hope you are doing well.

There are two options for applying:
One is through all india mcc counseling
And the other one is through state counselings as both are open states for private colleges so non domicile candidates can participate in its counseling.

If you go through mcc counseling you will get seat in 15% All india quota.
If you go through State counseling of both states then this 100% quota but only for private colleges.

But for going with the first option you must have a rank under 60 k as you are from sc category.

Further you can check your other chances of admission by using college predictor tool
