Though KVPY has stage 2 examination, due to the circumstances of COVID-19 pandemic, the KVPY fellowship 2020 will be awarded only on the aptitude test. No interviews will be conducted this year as per the concerning situation. Previously there are 2 stages conducted every year in KVPY, but due to above reasoned condition there will be no stage 2 examination in KVPY. In respect of the streams SB and SX , there will be four sections in Part I (Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics) and another four sections in Part II (Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics).  Candidates  have to answer any THREE of the four subjects in Part I and any TWO of the four subjects in Part II. In case candidate attempts  more  than required sections, best of three in Part I and best of two in Part II is considered.

however since time is limited it is best to avoid the answering of excess questions. since there is negative marking for wrong attempted questions.

No in KVPY exam no multi choice multi correct type question are asked. KVPY is computer-based where questions will be in MCQ format. Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore releases the exam pattern of KVPY 2021 on the official website kvpy.iisc.ernet.in. The exam duration of KVPY aptitude test will be 3 hours. The KVPY Exam 2021 will be conducted on January 31, 2021, tentatively.   IISc, Bangalore has released the online KVPY registration 2020 form. The last date of KVPY 2020 form was October 30, 2020, but application fee could be paid till November 3, 2020.

If you have studied through the year and your basics are strong then obviously you will be able to secure good marks in the examination. As the exams are few days away, now all you need to do is revision and practice. Study the most important chapters of each subject. Check your weak topics and prepare for those. And most of all, practice the numerical problems and questions. Also, you need to practice the sample papers and previous years question papers as it will help you to know more about the exam pattern, type of the questions asked and the difficulty level of the exam.
