In my opinion,  IIPE is better. 

IIPE Vizag will be among the best petroleum university of the world and is on par with IITs. During recent cabinet decision it was given the status of institute of national importance and will enjoy the perks given to the IITs which establishes it importance. The institute will have the governance structure as well as legal mandate to grant degree in a manner similar to that of IITs. A seperate act is also to be passed that will the institute the status of “centre of excellence” in petroleum and energy studies.

Here you'll find a good industrial exposure to the petrochemical industries as the vizag region lies near to the kakinada and kg basin region and has a lot of job potential. It is planned to create a petrochemical complex near this region.

So if you're interested to persue your btech degree in any specialized branches like petroleum engineering or chemical engineering you can go for it.

Hello candidate. Electronics and Communication Engineering is branch of Engineering which deals with both Electronics and Communication. Yes,the College is good for ECE. It has good infrastructure and facilities. Pleasant and peaceful environment to study. Also the faculty here are well experienced. Better go with this college for bright future.

Although your rank seems to be decent but I feel sorry to inform you that based on your rank in general category and considering the fact that you belong to general category it is very difficult for you to get a seat in mmmut even though seat has increased as compared to previous year. However if you could no get it then you should look for spot round counselling for MET as well jee main(if your jee main rank is below 1 lack 50k) there is chance that you may get it.

Iny opinion I wont recommend studying here . Faculty(c.s worst others better than cs) and administration is total crap i will ensure you that you wont be able to crack any exam now if you are aiming for higher studies  as attendance is strictly compulsory and classes are from 9 am-5 pm everyday except saturday it is till 2 pm.You wont get any good placement either as Placement is average around 100 students get placed all approx on 3.5 lakh in tcs and wipro(in banglore,noida and lucknow) most dont join as expenses will be more than salary .If you want to waste your 4 years please join MMMUT if don't then join some other institutions  like j.s.s noida its fees is almost same as MMMUT and you will get much better faculty ,much better environment and much better preperations if aiming for higher studies
Dont judge it by MMMEC its MMMUT now.Many think its same as MMMEC and joined 
this institution on reviews of MMMEC(Big Mistake).

As I followed the counselling of one of my friend at MMMUT Last to last year . Hence I can tell you that if your category rank for SC category is not under 500-600 then you can not get a seat there.

As it turned into a good government university so craze and value of it had increased in past days.

First of all congratulation for performing well in your exams. 1825 is a really good rank and you would definitely get into core branchs. Thr branch you would get are ELECTRICAL, MECHANICAL and CIVIL. The chance of getting electrical is low but you would surely get MECHANICAL.
