see every year cutoff changes and it depends pn number of candidates participating on it, questions level difficulty etc. see most of the colleges doesnot provide the cutoff marks, so i can tell you about opening and closing rank . for computer science closing rank was 1654.

there is no any categorisation of qualifing JEE main on the basis of attempting number of questions .
although if you are general then you should attempt at least 25 questions with correct answer.
because every year general cutoff is around 100.

Hi there,Hope you are doing well.The answer to your question is negative.To get into VNIT, Nagpur the only way is through JEE Mains.Even though they have a reservation for home state students, but that is also done only through JEE Mains scoreHope it would help.
