Scoring around 558 marks in NEET 2022 (3rd attempt), Scored 50% (passed) in 12th boards (2020), got 38 phy, 49 chem ,52 bio i.e 139 marks (theory+practicals) in total (PCB) and aggregate % of PCB is 46%, i belong to SC category, Am I eligible for admission in MBBS in Maharashtra/ AIQ?

Sayan 18th Aug, 2022

Hello,

The NEET test is used to determine eligibility for MBBS admission. For students to be eligible to take the NEET Exam, they must be older than 17 and have taken Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as required courses in class 12.

Qualifying percentage marks required to take admission in MBBS is 50% for general and 40% for SC/ST.

So, you are eligible because you got more than qualifying marks of mbbs under SC category.

Thank You

Sir/Mam, can I get the maharashtra domicile certificate , because my birth place is telangana and I am studying in maharashtra from nursery? And what are the documents required for the whole process?

Aditya 18th Aug, 2022

Hello,

To make a Domicile Certificate of Maharashtra State, there are some basic requirements which the candidate is required to fulfill. This includes :-

  1. 10th completed and passed from Maharashtra state only.
  2. 12th completed and passed from Maharashtra state only.
  3. Resident of Maharashtra from minimum 10 Years and above.
  4. School must be done from Maharashtra state only.
  5. Electricity bill or Society maintenance bill is required as a document proof.
  6. School passing certificates of each class is required as a document proof.
  7. Rest is your KYC.

Note :- There is no rule that District or City of the resident should remain same for 10 Years. Rule is that you must be residing in Maharashtra only, be it in any of its District or City.

All these above requirements are necessary to get Domicile Certificate from Maharashtra. Birth place don't matter if you give them proofs that you're staying in Maharashtra from more than 10 Years .

In your case, as you're staying in Maharashtra from your Nursery there won't be any problem for you .

Hope this helps. All the Best.

Thank You.

can I get private bams college in maharashtra with qualifying marks in neet 2022

piyush263001 16th Aug, 2022

Hello,

I will be answering this query based on your expected marks, that you mentioned in your previous query.

First of all I would like to tell you that your expected marks don't lie in the cut off marks range if you are a General Category Candidate. Though cut offs change evey year, but it is very likely it will remain same or increase compared to previous year cut off.

------ NEET 2021 Cut-off goes like :-

• General /EWS- 50th percentile

• SC/ST/OBC - 40th percentile

• General-PwD - 45th percentile

• SC/ST/OBC-PwD - 40th percentile

------ Marks wise cut off is as following-

• General - 720-138

• OBC/SC/ST - 137-108

• Gen PwD - 137-122

• (OBC /SC / ST ) PwD - 121-108

Since it is most likely that you wouldn't be Qualifying the NEET Examination, you can still pursue BAMS.

If you wish to take admission in BAMS course then I must inform you that it is mandatory for every aspirant to qualify the NEET examination in order to become eligible for admission in courses such as MBBS/BDS/BAMS/BHMS in India.

But there are certain colleges in Indian states such as Maharashtra and Tamil Nadu that offer BAMS courses without considering the NEET qualifying criteria. Here are the list of the colleges -

IN MAHARASHTRA -

• Bharati Vidyapeeth’s College of Ayurveda Katraj- Dhanakwadi

• Tilak Ayurved Mahavidyalaya

• Ashtang Ayurved Mahavidyalaya

• Ayurved Mahavidyalaya

IN KARNATAKA -

• A.L.N.Rao Memorial Ayurvedic Medical College

• A.M. Shaik Homoeopathic Medical College

• Alva’s Ayurvedic Medical College

• Alva’s Homoeopathic Medical College

IN TAMIL NADU -

• Ayurved College, Coimbatore

• Dharma Ayurved College and Hospital

• Sri Sairam Ayurved College & Research centre

I hope you find the answer helpful

Thank you.
