However the cutoff can drop due to follwing factors like:-

Difficulty levels of exam
Total qualified candidates
Total seats reserved
Candidates performance

KSOM MBA requires any of exams Like GMAT, XAT, CAT, KIITEE

You can register for MAT Feb once Dec MAT result are declared... But I think you should go for Dec MAT also reason being it will help you to understand MAT pattern and few colleges accept only sept/dec score(Christ university and few others) ....gud luck
